Noticed something wierd the other day when i dyno'd my car, John.
(Stage 1 Pump gas Perrin CAI tune)

Dyno'd the car on all 4 maps, map 1 and 2 were making much higher power than stock while map 3 and 4 "could barely spin the dyno" is what the dude said. No power there at all. went back to map 1, and bam, full power again.

I know u cant do anything until i lodge a ticket with some logs.

But thought i should let you know and if this has happened before.

Cheers

Maps 3 and 4 are the maps with John's traction control, so it makes sense that the ECU is limiting the power to the vehicle, since it thinks it is losing traction while on the dyno with the rear wheels moving and the fronts not.

I thought the aggressive racerom traction only started working when traction was turned off

I honestly don't know for sure if that is the case, but I don't ever remember reading that RR TC was only active when normal TC was turned off. What I do know is that John said it was a FAIL to have normal TC on when using the RR TC.

Don't quote me, but I think JiB is right. RR TC only works with OEM traction turned off.

Hey

Glad you made power!

Map 3 and 4 has the traction control so it makes sense for the car not to produce power on the Dyno while on those maps

John/Rich,

When I get my Borla UEL header installed, do I need to send in a datalog and get a new tune, or will my current tune for the AFE intake work fine?

Thanks!

Just wanted to let everyone know that all tune requests and datalog reviews have been completed.

Enjoy!

It's been a bit since i've heard anything regarding the Flex Fuel kits. Just wondering where we are with those.

Really wish I had my camera tonight. Filled up on a whole new tank of e85 from being just about completely out in my tank and all I can say is Wow. The hp noticeably higher, but the torque is incredible with the 38F temperature out. I went with a wider wheel 8' with PSS tires and the car will Chirp going into 2nd really hard, 3rd like how 2nd used to be and still pulls harder in 3rd and 4th more than usual. I am really impressed on the e85 tune. I Feel just about 0 torque dip. Hardly noticeable.

Really wish there was a dyno for the latest version of E85. I had to cancel my order a while ago cos I thought I was going to have to sell me car but I am now keeping it and seriously thinking of placing my order again - figures will push me over the edge
