CSG Mike: i plan to get this header (when i'll get funds). But there is problem though - as there is no known high competency ecu tuning shop locally, i'm tied to try tune myself with OFT or remote tune from some tuning shop. PTuning didn't release OFT tune at the end, but IIRC they provide custom cams timing (they also were mentioned that there was very specific tuning needed unlike for other headers) for their header upon request to those that bought their header. I'd love to go OFT route that i could tinker with myself, but header is a bit too expensive to miss getting all it's power from, hence Delicious remote tune probably will be safer bet. Seeing Wayno's comments about remote tuning i start doubting if remote tune by eg. Shiv will be as effective unless he had some customer with this header previously. Don't know of any other shop that does remote OFT tuning, most shops are Ecutek after all.

I ordered from CSG in July, but haven't gotten mine yet. I am waiting patiently. But, I have been waiting on this header since I saw the very first Ace post over a year ago when they were showing a picture of a one-off header they made. It was spectacularly pretty, and when I saw the type A design, plus the performance, I was sold. I have owned many headers on other cars, but I am a buy once/cry once kind of guy. This is my first and hopefully last header for this car. I don't want to buy something then wish I wouldn't have skimped. Plus, the price includes an overpipe, so that makes it competitive with the nameless and JDL type el headers if you are doing full exhaust. Anyway, not quite 100% of buyers are coming from something else. By the way, when is my anticipated ship date for a type a/350 ordered in late July?

*edit* I knew when I ordered these the wait was going to be substantial, so please don't read that as a complaint. I patiently wait. Counterspace garage is a fantastic company and was up front about the wait. I ordered other stuff from them too that I have already received, and their customer service is top notch!

Great news! That may be a quicker turn around time than I expected. I was told at the time of the order what the wait would be, so no big deal. @CounterSpace Garage is an excellent vendor with great customer service. I ordered on the internet over a weekend, and they contacted me over that same weekend to make sure I was aware of the wait before finishing the order or taking money. Great vendor!

I love my Ace header. Its the type B with the 250 over pipe. Have had it on the car for 2 weeks now and i'm absolutely in love with it.
With the OFT stage 2 ots tune there is absolutely zero torque dip now.
The sound is amazing IMO, i love the tone the equal length puts out coupled with my q300. Have gotten a lot of compliments on it already. My girl thinks it sounds almost like a streetbike (in a good way.)

I have some testing to do, numbers to get, and pictures and video to take before i put up my full review.
I would not hesitate to buy another one.

What OFT tune are you using with the headeR? Would you say the noise is louder compared to the stock header?

WOW ~! Im surprised how well it sounds with the q300. It screams beautifully. I might have to grab a q300. Are you very happy with the sound?

Extremely happy with the sound. Its not very quiet at WOT, but extremely tame on the highway.
