This is a really stupid mod and everyone who has black tips needs to get rid of them ASAP.

i ordered 2 online for store pickup and it says they should have them by friday. i assume that should work out well.

Not really sure. I had tried a couple of others (Advanced Auto, O'Reilly, some other national chains) and didn't see these. Amazon has the chrome EX-1011 ones and some others but didn't see the black ones.

There's a list of dealers on the DC Sports site but not sure that they would carry these.

Good idea! I just placed an order for one...it says my estimated pick up date is 06/25....

I'm just hoping whenever I go to zip boys to pick it up they don't look at me like I'm an alien when I say I placed the order online.

Lol my point exactly. I picked up the only one they had in stock. Figured waiting till they had two would be pointless.


Plus I think Dadhawk is starting to realize these exhaust tips are very tacky, he practically has one on its way to my house now

I've heard them referred to as the up's truck as in UP.

Thanks, there is one dealer near me and another in Sacramento (along with 3 Pep Boys)- I feel a road trip coming)

I'm trying to determine where to place the new black tips. The stock ones are set well back behind the black plastic. I see some here in this post that are extended beyond the black plastic and other in the nearly stock position. Decisions, decisions.

i think it looks cool if you place them out just a hair... play around with it.

my advice, dont tighten them up until u decide - i did a few dozen times and it messed up the cheap screws.. so on one of mine i am tight on only 2 of the 3 -- just something to remember as u sit there and stare at it for hrs/days....
