mudflaps

has anyone apicture of gt86 with mudflaps on as my dealer has asked if i want them fitted

let the dealer install them as they are very hard to install

you need to drill holes to the body and everything to install.

Really? I thought you could paint abs and I thought some of the plastic bumpers are made of abs?
Edit I mean bumper cover (the part you see) sorry

Yes you can paint them. Painters use a special paint on flexible parts so the finish doesn't end up cracking/peeling.

I have small mudguards on my e36 M3. Trust me, leave them unpainted. It doesn't quite look right when it's clean, and it looks terrible when it's dirty.

mudflaps ruin body paints

if i ever get mudflaps, i'm gonna make sure to get some of that M3 tape where the plastic makes contact with the body.

all the cars i ever owned, if there are external plastic body parts then at one point or another they will be the reason for rust development.

This is ESPECIALLY true if you track your vehicle because your chassis will be twisting endlessly without you ever noticing.
