Got around to putting the HPFP cover back on. That damn pump is too noisy! Took a little hack 'n mod to clear the new banjo bolt position and to keep the 2 tabs from hitting the intake runners.

^^ agreed. is the tune supposed to be more efficient? better power delivery? anything like that? i was told when i got mine installed at the time that the tune was much more efficient than the original tune it came out with. hopefully this one is better as well!

I asked Mike at Edelbrock about the new EO tune and he replied:
"From a legal stand point, yes we suggest customers have the new E.O. certified calibration installed for CARB purposes. As for differences, we made some adjustments in the lower RPM’s (~Under 20% throttle) which affect drivability and fuel delivery. This should result in a smoother driving feel as well as increase gas mileage. Hp/Torque numbers remain the same as before."

and I jinxed myself. the check engine light came on after 20 miles.
I tried to read the DTC but got a message stating OBD Error during reading DTCs: No response to OBD request. Great. |
