i'm not sure which version of the tune my new tablet came with (to be honest i haven't gotten my hands on it yet, been stuck at work on a Saturday sigh). if i download V3 onto the tablet, does it automatically overwrite the version came with it?

I'm not sure about that. I can't remember. You'll figure it out no problem lol

Now that my tune is fixed, I’m noticing it’s much quieter too. I welcome it as my HKS dual resonated Tomei 60r catless exhaust was deafening

Screw v3. Delete everything on your laptop and start from scratch like i did.

Download everthing then proceed with upload tunes, like here

another noobie question, i've been watching videos today on uploading files to tablet, they all mention to take note of the CAL ID as that specifically apply to my car. does that mean i have to marry the tablet to my car first before plug into my PC? without marrying how does the tablet know my CAL ID?

when first unpack the tablet, do i need to marry it with my car first (by reading the stock ROM from my car) or connect to my PC and upload the tunes onto tablet first?

I flashed the Stage 2+ E85 today and I could not get it to idle on its own. It kept dying on me. After about 6 tries I gave up from fear I was damaging something and reflashed the V3 tune, and it runs fine again.

For reference I'm running Open flash headers 3, Grimmspeed CAI, and Magnaflow catback with E85.

It took a good 25 miles for my idle to stabilize. All is well now though.

That doesn't sound right at all. I know this sounds super obvious, but are you sure you've got E85 in the tank? I had no major issues going from the v2.076 to the new tune. After I first flashed to the new tune, the motor almost stalled but then it evened out and idled fine.

Is there a post that teaches you how to do this? Or does anyone know how to?

Many thanks.

Yep, I've been running E85 on the V3 tune for about 2 months now. Even with that tune, about 50% of my cold start ups took two tries. Maybe it's the quality of the E85 I'm getting? I'll have to test it next time I fill up. Both my STFT and LTFT levels look normal though.

Comparing the v2 & v4 tunes.... Does anyone understand how the "Input A Rising Load Activation ECT" tables work? There are 14 of them and they are all a little different. @Kodename47 @steve99

(Ignore the calibration IDs, that's just so I can compare the v4 A01G to B01C ROMs.)

I dont tgink those tables make much difference, theor functions are not well understood, the differences are likely because v4 tunes all based on A01G or I roms Australian Euro roms where previois tumes for usa were nased on USA C or D series roms
