My brother brought his 3 piece Avant Garde wheels for his ZL1 to Wheel Techniques to be repainted. They powder coated over the bolts with the thickest layer of paint I've ever seen, guess they didn't feel like taking the rim apart. Will never be going back there.

Try Curbside Wheel Repair. They come to your home or work to fix your rims there.

This is why theTIRE should stick out the furthest. I don't recall the last time I saw a car with "rim stick out" that did not have curb rash, except maybe for day 1 with the new rims.... to each his own (rashed wheels)....

Or learn how to drive? I've never curbed a wheel in my life.....ever......
I have bent wheels from potholes though

The only time I run into curbs.....is on purpose. Used to put my work truck wheels right on the curb everytime so those nazi parking meter maids cant bitch

Thanks Captain Obvious but that's the widest tire I could run on my suspension without rubbing.

Are you going to be getting your wheels powder coated by them?
