I was hoping you were joking but don't think you are.
Spam is not "synthetic" in any way. It is simply processed pork shoulder and ham in a form of pickling medium. It will "polish" things because pork shoulder and ham contain grease. There is not a thing in it that will eat into paint or harm you in any way. It was created back in 1937 before plastics even existed so this whole "it is man made artificial substance" vegan propaganda is pure bullshit.
Bologna will not harm your paint nor your body. What do people think is in there that would hurt paint? The chemicals listed are in small quantities and present in any form of processed food. They simply prevent it from rotting in a couple of days. If you eat a couple of hundred pounds of it at once you may suffer some ill effects but that also applies to lettuce and kale.

Sorry if you were indeed joking but these stupid food urban legends and all the fictional "proof" that is on the net to support them is a trigger for me.

Hey! I never said I liked the stuff just that it isn't some chemical soup that is going to hurt car paint and turn people into mutants. It tastes exactly like processed and pickled pork shoulder and ham would be expected to taste.

Also, we eat things like tomato sauce and vinegar which can both polish pennies and eat clear coat.

In order to damage the clear coat it would contain uric acid. The acetic acid that they are mostly made of will not damage clear coat. It comes in a plastic bottle for crying out load. The clear coat is acrylic. Bird crap is far more hazardous to clear coat than any food we eat.

The very worst thing for out paint (and us for that matter) is the sun so we should only go out and drive at night. Could make for some interesting meets though.

Half joking half serious. As a joke one time Some friends took some bologna nicely cut out the letters to spell **** and placed it on the hood of car of this **** car back in high school. Next day she came saw it she was mad as hell. As the hood had it etched in the car had to be stripped and repainted. Yay high school auto club pant job looked so so but at least you could not see **** on the hood any more.

It’s not just vegan crap I am not a vegan nor would I ever be. But when the second or third ingredient is mechanically separated chicken it’s not just pork brother. It’s collagen, minerals, oils, gelatin and preservatives that allows it to polish things/strip things. . Same as banana peels were also used to polish boots in the military.

The propaganda side is all political. Try to find the old pictures of spam you won’t be able to. As they took it away. What you would see is spam spelled. S.P.A.M. For that matter try to find it’s brother T.R.E.A.T. You can’t politics took both away unless some one was stupid enough to start making treat again lol.

Yes spam was military issue as C rations. That why the hawians love it.

All joking aside please use the right products and tools for the job that’s all

All I see is SPAM no initials. It hasn't changed.
The ingredients are very clear to read. There is no chicken.
The gelatin that forms that freaks people out is a naturally occurring byproduct of cooking.
TREET is readily available and does contain chicken. It is just not as popular.
