There must be some water or moisture getting underneath the boot where the clutch fork meets the slave cylinder. Every time it rains for a long period of time the clutch will squeak louder.

I'm no expert on this but I'm guessing as it gets so damn dusty/dirty under hood so quickly on these cars that the paint/coating on the fork receptacle has scratched & started to corrode where the ball end of the actuator meets/touches as a result of scuffing which I reckon is causing the squeak. Cleaning the area of all contaminated grease & re-greasing it seems a temporary fix unless I protect the area of dirt.

When that squeak comes back I will clean/lube as done previously (see foot of p13 as per quoted @Ultramaroon instructions) & figure out a solution to prevent anymore dirt attaching itself to the fresh grease - worth a try I guess.
That's definitely worth a try. My dealer dropped my clutch multiple times replacing multiple things including throw out bearing and pressure plate. The noise didn't go away and it ended up all they had to do was what Ultramaroon explained there.

Maybe this Technical service bulletin from Subaru will help.
12-190-15R, Oct. 30, 2015, "Elimination of Creaking Sound from Clutch Pedal Assembly."

"This BRZ bulletin provides a procedure to address customer concerns of a creaking sound heard when operating the clutch pedal. The cause of the sound has been identified as a very slight amount of movement between the 2 layers of metal (circled in yellow) which form the specific clutch and brake pedal assembly mounting bracket shown in the illustration and photos."

I wouldn't use spray, although it might work. If something worked well, I would just follow that instead of trying something else that might not work. And even if you use the proper grease, you can call it a day only if you're lucky. If you're unlucky, then you need to drop the tranny to get rid of the noise.

Locate the point where the slave actuator rod meets the clutch fork.

Have a little grain-of-rice sized dab of grease ready on your thumb.

With the same hand carrying the grease, pull the clutch fork forward, collapsing the slave actuator a little bit.

Then, while holding the rod with the other hand, squish that little dab of grease into the mating receptacle and let the rod seat itself back in.

If that doesn't do the trick, it's time to drop the tranny.

Yes, I want to see this TSB, but can't find it anywhere.

That one isn't the creak. It's a clicking sound. I have it. DGAF because I recognize it. A friend had it. We both laugh now because after giving him a hard time about sweating it, I helped him re-seat his bracket.

It worked for a week or so.

No. Specifically, the service manual calls for Nichimoly N-130 or equivalent.

ConocoPhillips Multiplex Red #2 is an equivalent. Focus on Lithium complex, extreme pressure, high temperature, high tack. There are plenty of similar products out there.

Bought mine pre-owned in October, just started squeaking last week. Here we go. At least I work at a Toyota Dealership.

Soooo the squeak came back, car was hot & ambient air temps were also warm, I press the pedal and the squeak is evident, I pulled back on he clutch fork once or twice & noticed no noise. I went back into the car & pressed the clutch & . . . . . . you guessed it no squeak . . . . . . !?

I'm starting to think that the spring, master cylinder push rod, or the master cylinder piston assembly is what is causing the squeak noise. I've searched other cars online that have this noise while the car is off and on. The clutch squeak noise in those videos sounds identical to my problem and I'm sure many others here as well. I will try and get some videos tomorrow if the squeak decides to be loud tomorrow. I have also upgraded my clutch slave and that did not fix the problem.
