Usually it's at south end of the Starbucks/Petsmart parking lot on Coors right next to the Cottonwood Mall Tuesday nights at 7PM. There really hasn't been much activity being that the weather has been cold and it gets dark early. But I'm sure once spring rolls in more people will come!

Thanks much for the info, and an area I haven't as yet explored so that will be interesting also. So in a few weeks hope to see you there.

Soon to be owner FR-S

Hello all,
Just found the New Mexico group. I am here in Albuquerque, NM - North Valley area. I don't own an FR-S yet, but am in the process of getting one. Have to sell the current transportation first. I have a 2002 Jeep rock crawler/daily driver now. Prior to that I had a black 2007 Eclipse GS Turbo that was a lot of fun. I just test drove a 2014 FR-S automatic a few weeks ago and was impressed with the power to weight ratio - not bad. I have seen a lot of videos of others saying the power could be a little more, maybe driving one everyday that is evident. I have followed the news on the FR-S ever since it first started hitting the web and have decided to try to get one now. I saw the list of Albuquerque owners and it is a pretty good list, can't wait to be the next one on it. I'll keep checking here to see what's going on in Albuquerque.
Thanks, quarkdude

Welcome! They are fun cars indeed. If/when you buy one you'll find yourself making excuses just to drive it. If you haven't already found us on Facebook, click the link in my signature. Usually there's more local activity and events posted there than on here!

Welcome quarkdude, good luck in selling your Jeep and hope you like your findings on the site and the NM Group. I look forward to seeing which FR-S you end up getting

Hello subwaynm,
Thanks for the welcome. Gotta get some strong marketing to sell the Jeep, its a beasty rock crawler for sure. I have been up some stuff that is pretty much a vertical wall - talk about the death grip on the steering wheel.
Here is a pic of the Jeep - On forum's we like pics.

Depending on how much I get for the Jeep, I am looking at maybe purchasing the FR-S and a Supercharger kit w/tune for it. Anyone here have an inducted FR-S?
Thanks,
quarkdude

There's one guy I know of for sure that's in our facebook group that just got a fullblown turbo kit installed and tuned, but nothing I know of as far as s/c yet locally
