Yeah, well, it's hard to drive the Twin when it has a blown engine

I'm having an engine built by Bluemoon and will have a tune (possibly different ECU) that will have some safeguards against running too low on gas with a supercharger. Also getting the baffle/flap thingy for the fuel tank. Still a good two months out before its backup and running, probably closer to three... sigh.

Yes, keeping the JRSC but upgrading to the high boost pulley.

The build is the "standard" Bluemoon setup.

- OE New Crank Shaft w/ WPC SU00300155
- Boring and Honing using torque plate for fitment of New Pisons x4
- Deck straight block
- Bluemoon Piston 86.5mm CH 28.8mm, Window Milling & Anti-Detonation Grooves by CP Piston (12:1 Compression Ratio)
- Bluemoon Connecting Rod kit - C-C 133.3mm, Pro-H by Carrillo
- Main Bearing Set - SU003-00156
- Connecting Rod Bearing Set Race Series Boring ACL, 4B8610JJ
- ARP Main Bolt Kit - Austenitic Stainless 260-5001
- WPC Metal Surface Treatment Bottom End Package (Crank Shaft, Main Bearing, Rod Bearing, Connecting Rods, Pistons, Piston Ring, Piston Wrist Pin, Cylinder Wall)
- Bluemoon baffled oil pan

Long block additions:
- Rebuilt Heads (converted to 2015 specs)
- Porting, polishing,
- ARP head studs
- Head gasket of your choice (this will determine final compression ratio)
- Valves, springs, and proprietary rocker arm retainer clips.
- WPC treatment all friction surfaces.

Sleepless - how is progress on the car? Any regrets with the build by bluemoon? I may be headed in a similar direction with my car and would love to hear of any lessons learned: what has worked for you, and what hasn't. Also, I'm local - work in Redmond - and would love to see it when it is back together.

Bluemoon was very good and easy to work with.

The car is up and running fine, but is now in storage for the winter.

Curious to see how this works out for you. Know many people who didn’t have good luck tracking built FA20’s, myself included. Just know that your baffled oil pan may not be enough.
