Now that is impressive!

Great job!

So much for the "no way to boost such a high compression engine" crowd.

Dammit Toyota -- fix the cam sensor issue and offer this with factory boost and I'm buying one!

Have you taken this car to a track with turns yet?

If not can you talk about how throttle response has changed, if at all? Do you speculate that delicate weight transfer through a string of corners can still easily be performed? Thanks!

Check the update in the first post. A very similar setup is being tracked with 20-30minute sessions. Seems pretty durable. You'll have to ask Visconti to get a review from his other customer though.

The durability at this boost level is impressive. I'm also surprised that it's doing this with the stock header and cat. At these power levels that cat has got to be a noticeable restriction.

I would love to see what the max you could get out of a straight bolt on with pump gas as most of us do not have E85 easily accessible.

I would guess that most of the people will be buying a non e85 kit.

Any chance you could ask whoever is testing/driving this to chime in with info/video?

I trust the durability.
I'm trying to determine how throttle response changes when turbocharging this car.
Basically, if I'm making up time on the track during the straight sections, but losing time due to clumsy transitions AND there's nothing I can do to compensate, then I'm not interested.
But I don't have experience driving turbocharged cars on the track, so I'm looking for experienced feedback. I'm only slightly familiar with theories on how to improve turbocharged throttle response, such as low friction bearings, turbine shaping, short path from exhaust valves to turbo, and off-throttle spooling tactics.
I still have a lot to learn!

I don't know much about making clutches, but your putting down almost the max of what your current clutch is good for! lol But, good job from Exedy and everyone who has a part in this build so far. And like always, Don and John, thanks for the updates!

Oh, one more thing, so, you didn't up the HP or anything on your 11.3 run, right? Still 439rwhp, right? Thanks a bunch!

Its ok. I have a prototype twin disk!

It should look just like the BRZ-300 kit but with a different turbo:

Looks similar. Our piping size on the 400 kit has changed and the intake picks up fresh air in the bumper.
