Played the demo today and I'm very impressed. I've been wanting a combination of open world driving and realistic physics for the longest time. Will definitely be picking this up.

I thought the demo was just ok. The whole culture thing didnt really translate, at least from what was give. You pull up to an oddly placed area thats cordoned off with a fence or something and theres about 15 people mingling or dancing or whatever. The races are alright I guess, nothing to write home about, and driving around is fine but the crash physics are pretty bad. If I slam into the back of car at 120 i would expect some more damage. Keep in mind I always run with full damage and 0 assists. Ill have to see what the full game is like befor I make my final decision but so far it's very underwhelming.

The damage is limited to only cosmetic or nothing. Not really negative or positive, just saying.

The EVO was ridiculously grippy with all assists off. Not sure if that was the EVO's setup or what. The off-road was awesome but nothing else held my attention. I played it for an hour then uninstalled it.

The fact that the BRZ is going to be ingame is nice but not enough to make me think about buying.

just played the demo and i actually really like it, although i admit nfs did flash through my mind once or twice and i really like the old nfs hot pursuit games. It is like forza but with more of the "point to point" style, which I like, rather than going around and around a track for a 30 lap race that i'd locked up in two. I also like the oncoming traffic that mixes it up, and can't wait to drift around with my FR-S!

Oh really? I didnt even notice that. I was just hoping for better crash physics instead of slamming into a car 120 only to slowed down with a dull thud. I can understand not having mechanical damage but it could be a bit more exciting. Oh well, I deleted it as well. Im sure I can find something better to fill that 1.6 GB with.

No BRZ. It does have the FR-S though.

We're talking about FHorizon not F4.

I am too. Somewhere in that thread it was pointed out that that screen was just a photoshop, which it is. There aren't any race cars in this game.

Since the reviews and green disc copies are out, so is the entire car list. Spoilers, for those who want the barn finds to remain a secret.

Any recommendations on a steering wheel/clutch combo for the 360? I may need to step it up a notch for this game.

Not the cheapest option, but I just ordered a Fanatec CSR with elite pedals.
