It sucks too because I could've gotten a better job off the bat if I had done a little better, instead I've been stuck in this hellhole for five years.

Oh, and happy hump day haha

Well, I bought a used car for each of my 3 kids (2 boys, 1 girl) when they turned 16. I put new brakes and tires on it and tuned it up. I paid for the insurance.

Now, they had to figure out how to make money to put gas and oil in it, how to service it and if it broke down ..... where and how to buy repair parts and install them.

The most important first step is admitting ignorance. College was extremely humbling for me. When I started applying my vibrations analysis curriculum to real-world suspension design I realized there is a very small circle of people who can truly say they know what they're doing. I stand just outside that circle.

Yes, college is very humbling.

Im an engineering student with a minor in "Im pretty sure Im retarded".

I had to giggle a little bit, Im studying for a clac 4 test tomorrow, we already covered curvature (fuck that shit) and thought of a follow up question about that inner circle...lol

Im just simply waiting for Tcoat to say something about your vibrations analysis lol.

A jerk nystagmus is an involuntary oscillatory movement of the eye comprised of two phases: a slow (pendular) phase and a fast (jerk) phase.

Yeah .. Eye nerd over here ...

My neighbor, who doesnt see me much since I started night shift, said "damn dude, you've gotten fat. Whats up with that double chin action?"

I pretty much was in agreement. Ever since getting the car and working nights, I've been foregoing exercise.

I do miss being able to effortlessly run 5 miles and lift heavy objects like it was cake.

Lets see how much gym memberships are now...

Cool, look what's on wikipedia. Would make a cool avatar if it weren't against the rules.

Perhaps I can forgo eating out two nights at work to pay for a month's membership fee.

The small number of people I've told I paid off my car said stop being so cheap and live a little. "You make pretty good money and no longer have debt."

Kinda hard to open the vault when not so long ago, I was only making 100/week...

My schedule is pretty shitty with work/sleep/child care stuff so I basically have an hour (maybe) on the days I work.

It was hard for me to actually go to a gym or find something I could stick to easily.
I've been doing this "program" for about 4 months now and I think it's great.
Pretty simple and laid out well. Only have to invest a little if you don't have something available (pull up bar, bar for dips/rows).
It was a good stepping stone to help me get active again.

Or spend the money on some equipment for your place. You can easily fit a workout in when it's right there, open 24/7.
