Toyota's chief engineer, Tetsuya Tada, the man behind the GT, says he wants it to be the first of a new sporting line-up which will include a big Supra-sized coupé and a new MR2-sized small Roadster.

Check out the reader comments attached to the review....It looks like the age-old stereotype of the Sun being a paper for red-necked morons (known as "chavs" in Britain) is true after all.

ignore the sun it's a newspaper for the scum of britain to read - just a tabloid, owned by murdoch i beleive - associated heavily with another paper that got closed down for hacking the phones of kidnap/murder victims

More likely a Hybrid powertrain.

manufactures have to have a certain average fuel economy, with the prius and its many variations and other hybrid cars they have, they may not have to go hybrid on the supra, making a large lineup of hybrids may have been part of the whole plan all along so we can have a hybrid-less supra, toyota knows what they are doing and they do it better than most....

i believe a hybrid supra will be introduced, but it wont be slow, it may actually be faster than a few stock trims of the new supra, if they use the same system as the NSX im down, just as long as they still make a all gas powered Supra TT....

The Sun knows more about a new supra than all other car enthusiast websites?
Like the Bild-Zeitung, (German equivalent to The Sun) which already knows that Subaru is working on a 300hp supercharged BRZ.
