If this is happening with these cars, it needs to be in the recall forum and we can all receive the TRD stabilizers. The pictures of the silver FR-S was the car that Vertical Doors Inc. used to proto-type the hinges.
The point of the door stabilizers is not to keep the doors closed during spirited driving, they do that just fine on their own.

Their purpose is to put pressure on the door front to back when closed to increase stiffness of the car as a whole.

The way most of you feel about this mod is the way I feel about "stanced" cars. But hey..., everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Some like mustard on their hot dogs, some don't.

I honestly think stanced cars are the epitome of rice and just flat out dumb car mods. Lambo doors, tv screens in the engine bay/trunk, door panels covered in speakers.. I would take all that over this stance crap. I wish every stanced car would just burn to the ground.

Honestly, lambo doors do have some limited function. I'm not into them, they add a lot of weight and I think they look pretty silly generally. But, they do help with tight parking and the whole kicking door panels as your getting out.

One word "steelo" lmao. For instance... Why do people get Mohawks or die their hair pink or wear jeans with holes in them? What function does it serve? Simply aesthetics at the cost of functionality. Then again.... Aesthetics is a kind of 'function' depending how you look at it.

Different strokes... "What might be right for you, might not be right for some..." Hahaha

No, seriously it looks practical O.o;
I know of a guy who snapped one day when he had to climb into his car, an Audi (R)S6 IIRC, through the boot because of small parking spaces & bad parkers! A few months latter he changed his track day car to an Ultima CanAM, the single reason for that change was to get in his car after the weekly shop

Does anyone knows "lambo" doors which open directly up?
