best driving roads in south bay?

I'm sure this thread has been done to death, but I'm wondering what people's current favorite driving roads are in the south bay? I'm in the San Jose area, so by far the best one I've found nearby is Hwy 9. It's amazing.

But I'd really like to find a more open road with better visibility...9 just has too many blind corners and hazards like cliff drops. Are there any good, smooth farm roads with plenty of visibility around here? I dream of roads like this...

I'm in SJ too and grew up in the South Bay. I think the closest to what you're looking for is McKean Road. Want to go for a quick drive Sat AM?

I live in South SJ but work in Mountain View. Sometimes on the way to/from work I take HWY 9 -> Skyline -> Page Mill (or opposite direction). This is one of my favorites.

Another awesome route will be similar but instead of Page Mill you go to Pescadero -> Half Moon Bay -> Back to Skyline -> HWY 9. This is for the weekend / vacation / holiday.

Another variant is Mt Hamilton Rd up to the Grant Lake, short hike there and then Quimby Rd to get back to SJ. You may even meet Blue there

+1 on McKean as a suggestion. Initial part after the Cal-Fire station almost looks like your picture! Keep an eye out for motorcyclist/bicyclist on the weekends.
