Magnus launch control device

I have a twin disk comp clutch w/cd009 and tilton hydro bearing. It’s essentially an on/off switch from hell! So I’ve been on the market for a clutch flow control system like clutch master or tilton. The drawback with those is I don’t want to be slipping my clutch in every gear. So I came across a solenoid type control system which only activates via ecu or micro switch only in first gear. I have a stock ecu and have no plans of a standalone ecu so i need to make some sort of switch. A more convenient option that i want is one close to the shifter itself. When in first gear the shifter is pressed against it activating the solenoid and deactivates out of first like a clutch switch but smaller. Anyone know something that can make that happen.

Another route you might consider is handling this with a dev board with a CAN transceiver built in like a Adafruit Feather RP2040.

RPM, speed, calculated gear, and clutch position are available over CAN.

Use a smaller diameter master cylinder. That will give you less travel on the TOB.
