Airsoft is cool but never bought a gun for airsoft, the day I was going to buy an Airsoft AR15 was the day I was introduced to Mr. AR Lower receiver. Since then, I started going to the range from time to time and send 5.56 FMJ's at targets.

If your going to buy an Airsoft Gun you're actually better off just getting an AR15 you will learn a lot more! Get's costly though the ammo gets expensive!

Thats all true - I enjoy my AR's very much, but its hard to go around and actually shoot people. Airsoft is used as a training tool, to practice CQB and other aspects of combat that cannot be practiced on the range.

I haven't ever tried airsoft. I've done paintball once. It was warm but I was smart, loose clothes, long sleeves. One guy I went with wore shorts and a sleeveless shirt. He was covered in bloody welts after a couple of hours...
