The only leak I have noticed was from the oil filter adapter, but I did not torque it down initially. I removed everything and cleaned it up and applied new oil to the seals and torqued it down. I haven't removed the bumper to take a good look at the oil cooler fittings though. I can see one of them through my brake duct though.

I had a leak in one of the hose end fittings on my kit.

Edit. Also custom fabricated brackets since the one included angled the core at a different direction to what we found optimum.

I still haven't pulled my bumper to really look at mine again, but I don't think they are leaking still.

this is a great location for vortech users because of placement of the washer tank.

Can anybody chime in that might be running this with the Vortech kit? It looks like it should fit, but I just want to see if anyones running it already before I go ahead and order it.

Hearing nothing but great things about this kit. Might get this over the Perrin oil cooler.

I've got the FBM kit on my car along with a Vortech supercharger. I trimmed the hoses slightly shorter and put 90 degree ends on the hoses where they connect to the sandwich plate. I'll admit that the install wasn't quite as easy or seamless as the Perrin kit (took it off because of a major leak) but it is solid and doesn't block the airflow over the intercooler / radiator. I didn't have the Vortech when I installed the Perrin kit though, so it isn't exactly an apples to apples comparison. Either way I'm happy with it after 5,000 miles on the cooler.

I've been contemplating running this oil cooler along with my Vortech kit for awhile now but I didn't know of anyone that had actually done it so I was worried about the fitment. Thanks for the review, makes my choice a lot easier.
