I certainly did! Love the stripes, the more subtle tail fin , I see both in my future. Also love the engine note, but can't wait to hear it in person.

I think this is the best I've seen the red (and the production car) look on film. Seems like the angles get washed out most the time.

If I ever had any doubts about buying this car, this video made it go away. As soon as I know when my nn/86 is going to be delivered, I'm taking a couple of days off to run the Tail of the Dragon.

Got to figure out the track day schedule at Road Atlanta! Sadly, I don't think there is one in May, have to wait until June.

I've only seen this guy's reviews once or twice before, so he may be like this a lot...but he seemed REALLLY excited while driving this car. I guess that is a good thing

The engine sounds great! Reminds me of my old AE86 with HKS sports exhaust. It sounds just like that whenTVIS kicked in.

On-Topic, that was great review. I was drooling seeing him driving FRS/GT86

This dude is nuts... This video alone will sell a lot of cars. But I'm still going to wait for BRZ-STI :-)

He's definitely not always like this, and I think that's what's most telling about this review and how he feels about the 86/FRS. I've never seen him this giddy before.

Great video. I enjoyed it. A few issues:

1) Wish the microphone was better to cancel out background noise. Hard to hear him speak sometimes.

2) I thought a torsen was a mechanical? What is this about a mechanical as an option?

3) Brake fade? Hopefully that was after a full day of use by other auto journalist and not 10 min into spirited driving.

I thought Chris Haris said the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is the best car?

You need to watch him drive a GT3 RS 4.0.

+1 on the confusion.

I think I generally understand the different differentials (open, clutch pack, viscous, torsen, and locker), but the term 'mechanical' is new to me. I also associate 'mechanical' with the geared torsen. Plus going back to the Supra it gets more confusing with upgrades. For instance the Mk3 Turbo came with a clutch-pack LSD. The Mk3 JDM Twin-Turbo R got an upgrade to a torsen unit. But the heavy-duty racing unit from TRD was a clutch pack.

I just don't see this 'mechanical' diff as a locker, so a clutch pack like Kaaz or OS Giken (and old TRD) aftermarket ones? But I would use 'friction' over 'mechanical' for my description...

Man if that review wasn't an endorsement I don't know what is.
I've been thinking about it for a long time, whether to go back to my first love the supra or get this car. And This review just made it harder. I guess a test drive will be in order for me to find out.
