FRS?brz vs G25

i am in the market for just a car, not a race/track car.

have anyone consider a slightly used g25?

G25
More luxurious
more space
a lil bit more hp and tq, but more weight.
also rwd

8 seconds to 60 does not cut it for a 35k otd car...

A G25 will provide a completely different feel than a BRZ...

The Infiniti will be the Luxo-Boat like it's Big Brothers, just with less power. The BRZ is the nimble, agile, zippy featherweight; and that is something that is hard to find in cars nowadays.

so is this the first time someone ever used the 0-60 as a selling point for the frs?

There's your problem, you're thinking the g25 is a sports coupe. I'm pretty sure its a budget luxury sedan

Emphasis on budget. I've driven a couple Infiniti G's (G35x sedan, G37S coupe) and they felt like nothing more than gussied up Nissans with leather seats. If you want a nice luxury sedan in that category, try a 2009+ Audi A4. 211hp, 258lb/ft out of a 2.0L turbo 4cyl and a gearbox that's smooth like butter. Fit and finish is 10x that of the Infiniti, and it's quiter and has a smoother ride. quattro AWD is a huge benefit too. We've traded 3 G's in the past few months to put people in A4's, and they love the difference! Audis have become much more reliable in recent years, too.

But vs. an FR-S/BRZ? Well, they're not really comparable at all. The FR-S/BRZ is a focused sports car with emphasis on driver involvement. You can drive one daily (I plan on it), but it's not primarily designed for comfort or convenience like a sedan.

Audi being 10x better than Infiniti is an exaggeration. They know how to put an interior together pretty damn well. as far as cross shopping a BRZ goes, the two cars have different purposes so the consumers choice will be made based on needs.

I have actually sat in these cars at auto shows and touch and felt the interior up and couldn't find a damn difference between the quality of the A4 and G series Infiniti's.

Both had:

Soft touch plastics galore
Aluminum trim accents
Leather felt rich in both of them
Interior styling is subjective but I like both a lot

I have a g25 with moonroof option and I love it! If you're looking for a smooth daily driver with enough hp to commute then this is the car for you. I test drove the Audi A4 and too me it felt like a Passat with an Audi logo on the steering wheel(not that it's a bad thing). We traded in a 2010 Passat for a G25 and have no regrets.

The handling on the g25 is great and no, it does not feel like a "boat". I think the FRS/BRZ are completely different animals compared to the G... I have not test driven them but I have a feeling they will be much rougher on the suspension side with cheap materials on the inside.
