Its estimated around that time so far, waiting to hear from dealer still. And that because I ordered one for the local dealer in BC vs that dealer getting one from another dealer which would cost me $ plus gives me time to sort finances

The dealers all said whatever they received was all they were going to get. No way to order anymore. |

I don't have a confirmation yet if its avaliable to be ordered, Thats the best word I've gotten from the dealer. I know theres a few avaliable locally, but in a perfect world I've love to wait like 1-2 months till I'm moved a province over and avoid that pesky PST Tax, Save a solid 2400$ straight up.
I know theres still a decent number of them avaliable, in Canada, dealer never said anything about it being no-go for order. |

Thats why if I can get the deal done in Alberta if I get a job over there.... my god... the savings, 2400$ saved, only paying 1600$ for tax total. Like... soooo much savings xD
Could rent a room for a few months and claim residency just to reap that lol. |

Mind me asking where you're located in BC?
I'm in Kelowna. Ordered a '15 BRZ Limited and it should be arriving mid September! |

I'm from Penticton, dealing with the dealer there, I emailed my sales rep tonight asking a few questions and a few clarifications re: payment etc.
The December estimate was for a fresh made one, if order was placed to factory by Friday, would likely see it arrive in December is what they said, unless one is already made and not accounted for. Just the dealer I'm dealing with doesn't have one in inventory or order yet obviously. I hope not too late, and only the few left at dealers are only spoken of. When did you order yours @teehan? Just curious how far off I am from when orders were still being placed. |

Oh cool! Ya I decided on a '15 instead of going with the '14s on the lot. I ordered mine in mid June. They told me that it is expected to be shipped on a boat today from Japan and get into Vancouver around the 8th then trucked into Kelowna around the 15th. So if you are just ordering now, I would expect it to arrive somewhere in November or December like they said. Its a tough wait, ill tell ya. Its nearly killing me not having it yet! |

Financially the wait works pretty well for me, gives me a solid chance to get settled at my new job, and get all my finances in order. If I can get it around 400-425$/mo I'll be laughin. (Will be 425$ if I can get it in Alberta thats with like almost no further down payment besides the 1k down I already did.
So if I can get it for that... I'm very very very happy. Because thats basically what I was quoted a '15 scion with 4k down (7 yr vs 8yr mind you but planning on paying it off pretty quick since it'll be my only real debt. |

Well works out wonderful, so turns out yes people are right that they're no longer orderable, but, There was one mentioned first day I met with the sale consultant going to town over in Kelowna, think its at the lot now. When he found out that its no longer avaliable he immediately posted my name on it, and today I agreed to do the deal, and will be picking it up here in 2 weeks, may succumb to my weakness and pick it up sooner xD specially after getting to see it on Saturday coming up here.
But extremely excited, getting the fuel cap and the rear carpet ordered in for it also. Going to look on forum, have to start making plans to get tires for this thing, at least winters, will probably run those summers it comes with into the ground then get something nice, or wait till money's avaliable. |
