Blue Enkeis

I've been looking at wheels lately and noticed there are several blue RPF1 and NT03+Ms floating around from a limited batch.

Does anybody on here have a set? Do they look like the famous Volk Mag Blue? Or are they lighter?

Might not be exactly the same as what Volk uses, but if you ask a shop that does powder coating, im sure they could do it for you. The shop I got my wheels done at does mag blue.

Well that's interesting. I may have to try this route with some Work 57crs.....

I have been looking at some Mag Blue TE37RT's, per Volk it's a custom color if you want it done try 3-6 months and that was from a sales guy FML.

Mag blue is darker so it's closer to F-Zero blue but a tone off.

I was set on trying to rationalize that I don't need Volks and then I see your photo. Now I want it again

Seriously. What size TE37RTs are you looking at? I found some limited edition Work 57DRs in mag blue but they're just not the same as TE37sl wheels. Something about the shape is off to me. Guess I'll have to save longer for Volks

I wanted TE37s or Work S1Rs when I was shopping around but ultimately the cost was just too much for me to justify to myself.

Also, I decided to stick with 17" for ride comfort and the TE37s dont look good in that size (in my opinion).

I love my RPF1s:

I found some in So Cal but the size was 18x10 (cant remember offset maybe 22?), I do not want to swap between 17x9 RPF1s and my daily TEs so I contact Volk rep in CA and he said they can do 17x9 +38 5x100 with Mag Blue but the wait is crazy, and I would have to pay close to retail on them. That's whats holding me back on them. For now, to clear up my T/C issues I will stick with RPF1s and 595's.

I am in the same boat on saving for them, I have no need to go widebody since I aparently enjoy walls, dirt and anything BUT the tarmac I should be on when on the track

Gorgeous color and work. Can I ask what the cost of doing the color was? I have heard horror stories of bubbling and issues with the shops around here, and I don't mind paying good money for the right job.

I was originally eyeing up the RPF1s in blue based on their price and weight. The 17x9 sizing is also a plus for me since I hear they're the size to get for the BRZ. Your RPF1s look really good. How much was the paint job if you don't mind me asking?

I thought you needed orders of 5 or more for custom Volks? How crazy are we talking here? Because I might be crazy enough

Yep. Do you have them? I haven't been able to find a real picture of them on a BRZ yet.
