If you dont think they work. dont get them. I got them and noticed a difference in steering input required, when near the limit, as well as a nicer sound when closing the door. If you're not on a relatively sticky tire and driving at 8/10ths you wont notice they are there unless you close the door and notice its less 'clangy' and more 'thunky'.

I work with a LOT of loctite. Heat the screws up with a heat gun first it will make it a lot easier to break them loose.

Just use the correct tool and they come out quickly and easily with little effort. The correct bit on a rachet makes quick work of these with little fuss. If you try to use a screw driver with the right bit you're going to have a lot bigger hassle

Exactly these bolts along with the bolts holding the seats to the floor were a PIA. 2 seconds with a $10 torch from home depot them came off so easily even with them being half stripped. Make it easy on yourself

Just did this last night. A few things that I think will be helpful to everyone else to know:

1) You need a torch. Hitting the tops of the screws with MAP gas for a bit will make life easier.

2) Breaker Bar + a #3 Phillips Head Socket (It's a #3 not a #2. And it's not PZ).

3) Use constant even pressure on the back of the head to prevent camming out.

If all else fails, you'll have to do what I did on one of the 4 screws (the other 3 came out with torch + breaker in a shop with ~30F ambient temp). You'll need an air hammer with a screw remover attachment. Careful application of this will definitely get them out, every time, all the time.

Also fun story, in the process of installing this, I made the alignment of my driver's side door better and realized my passenger side door was misaligned from the factory (I checked before and after). New item to add to the list is to find a decent body guy to help me adjust my hinges to re-align my passenger door.

Try using a ratchet and the appropriate Philips bit socket, that did the trick for me. Impact driver didn't do anything for me either.

On t he driver's side I tried one screw and it worked and then the other screw stripped. I'm gonna see if I can find a mechanic that can just loosen these 4 fucking screws.
