Got and installed the Tap Turn relays for my cars. Strobe is activated for the Yaris. I have no clue why I find this hilarious. lol

I really got it for the tap turn ability. Nice not having to hold down the stalk anymore when switching lanes.

Also, in case anyone was wondering about replacing the zenki rear side marker bulb with an LED, here is what it looks like. OEM top, Osram (white) bottom.

So now everything, with the exception of the headlight HIDs, is LEDs in the FR-S.

My brother and I loved the 3000GT VR-4 on Gran Turismo 2 back in the day: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...-3000gt-vr4-6/

According to the relevant post on reddit, it didn't sell because of the seller likely being shady.

Did a much needed brake fluid flush on the FR-S.

Decided to go with Amsoil DOT3/4 this time around since it doesn't seem like Torque RT700 lasts a year before it starts turning brown.

Did it end up being a failed seal or just a loose fitting? Mine spewed oil all over the engine compartment on Friday. I somehow made it out Mines, up Mount Hamilton, and back down the San Jose side just fine. Then got stuck in 680 traffic and it was fine until I was a couple of blocks from home. Or at least that's when I knew there was an issue.

I didn't lose much oil but it sprayed everywhere and even after cleaning the whole engine bay it's still burning off in some places and fucking reeks. Tightening down the plate seems to have fixed it for now.

It ended up just being loose, gaskets were fine. I tightened the center bolt up to the "specified" torque or at least tried to and haven't had any issues since. Some more discussion about it here: https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127021

Thanks. I haven't had any issues since it was tightened down on Saturday so I think mine was just loose too. And I think the excess oil has finally burned off the exhaust so my car is no longer smoking and stinking which is nice.
