RECAP: Not happy with my current job and got a job offer for a job that I did like, but as a contractor (ie really good pay but for only 6 months, no benefits, possible extension, no promise of being permanent, etc.) Had to give them my decision by today.



On Sat, my niece had a b-day party with a bouncy house. After most of the kids have left and a few beers later, wife, kid and I decided to have one last go around before they packed it up. Landed funny on my right leg and got a "minor tear" on my LCL. Dr has me on crutches and pain meds right now. If it doesn't heal-up completely over the next 4 weeks, I may need surgery.


Lesson learned I guess...

Lol, nah, even with impaired judgement, I wouldn't attempt that (I'd be paralyzed from the neck down if I did!)

My wife and I were trying to "double bounce" our daughter while she was laying down. The frantic laughter egged us on. Of course, it was all fun and games until somebody gets hurt...
