I love this concept! Aside from the interesting nose design (which would probably be praised if it was on an exotic car); it has all the right curves in the right places.
I don't know why there are so many downers dissing on this concept. It's hard to any normal automaker to go out on a limb and pursue a sports car design of this sort. Concept cars are design studies by the design engineers, obviously the production version (if it does make it there) will be less toned down, but will likely retain much of the designs shown in the pictures. Just recall the FT86 concept and what we have today, clearly different, but also relays many of the design accents of the concept. From a concept perspective, what's not to like? At least Toyota is putting forward effort. Heritage? They have all the pedigree they need. At least they didn't keep the Supra namesake around just to run it into the ground like Nissan did with their Z. |

Toyota FT-1 Concept
So the Toyota FT-1 concept has now been revealed and i personally think it looks badass. Sorry if youv'e already heard too much about it. It looks like something i've never seen and looks like it will also carry a price tag i have never seen So i just want to see what you guys think about the concept so far, overall, its flaws, what you specifically really like. What do you guys think it will cost when officially released? Lets just discuss the FT-1? More here: http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1...t-detroit-show and more all over the interwebs |

Side and rear shots look amazing. Nose could use a little work. It's a great time to be a car enthusiast! Thank you Toyota for giving us exciting cars again and forcing the competition to do the same!

his thing is sick,
And its got such strangeness with the angles. Side profile looks like an elongated FT86 concept (first one), rotate it abit close to a 3/4 rear shot and it looks clearly like a Supra sibling (especially with the wing popped up), near the front it looks like its got some Corvette in it, and the F1 beak...some people obviously do not remember some of the recent Toyota Hybrid concepts have a similar looking beak. |

Side profile is fantastic. Looks like the FT-86 Concept on steroids. Front is a bit too busy.
