You're welcome anytime. Supra isn't much to look at right now; but hopefully, that is changing this winter !

Here are some CAD images of the rear louvers. I ended up adding some design flair to them.

What is the size difference from you large vents? Other than a slight scallop on the aft side looks almost identical to them.

They are very similar in size; basically identical in overalls.

I would be interested in the s550 ones. Do they include/support rain guards?

The regular S550 Mustang louvers have rain guards available. The GT Spec (larger) do not.

due to where they are positioned, do you need to cut into the hood structure vs the 4 smaller ones that sit in-between. I admit really like the look of the S550 GT spec on our cars.

Yes! To my knowledge, we are the only ones who have louvers for the car that require no cutting of the hood structure. We basically make use of the vast majority of the hood skin; you would be hard-pressed to get larger louvers in the hood without cutting structure away.

Here is a video of the GT-Spec units going in Clay's car.

VerusEric: i wonder how much (if cut few ribs) that structure is important, and to what extent cutting it reduces rigidity of hood, and if it's worth or not to think of some additional strenghtening in some way (eg. installing something across/behind louvers, to restore/add rigidity), if large vents are installed? Or maybe large vents should be designed in way, that at places where they cut across ribs, there is some extra material/brace/something alike?

in that video. Do you guys have the measurements that were used so I can replicate the exact placement.

I honestly cannot answer any of those questions. I have no idea. OE designed the underhood structure to crumple in a specific way and modifying that underhood structure likely changes how it will act in a crash.

I'm sure Clay can get you some measurements if you need some. It took us about 4 hours to do; mostly because Clay was nervous. Double and triple check the measurements and you should be golden .

Radical. I told Ian about these last night and he would be willing to help get a group buy if you need X amount of people before offering them.
