What instructions did you guys use to get the e-brake boot off? I was reading somewhere that you just grab the boot near the traction control buttons and just pull up and the whole eBrake boot trim will come up. But I think that was for a FRS. Same thing for BRZ?

Put your hand between the seat and ebrake panel, slip a few fingers under the bottom of the panel. Pull up, NOT out towards the seat. That will pop the two clips off and you are done.

Yes same for the brz.

looks pretty pricey to change the whole ebrake

$118.94 for the handle
$73.74 for the boot

$192.68 to have the whole ebrake swapped out?

I went and added one line of red stitching to my e-brake boot. I wanted to make sure I want happy with the colour before I continued.
