I've found that its mostly older women (read: nice older ladies, not cougars lol) checking out and complimenting my car. I think its mostly a generational thing, baby boomers and older seem to be much more interested in cars than the younger generation.

I find that people often seem surprised when I get out of the car (I'm a woman in my 40's and maybe that's not what they expect?), but I notice that the car itself gets checked out about equally by men and women. A lot of it is the squint and "what is that?" face, which is odd, because there's a ton of them everywhere here in Phoenix, probably because of the weather.

Funniest thing happened to me last Sunday. I was getting out of my car after pulling into a parking spot at the grocery store when a lady that had to be in her 60's gave me a "nice car" with a smile on her face. I was totally not expecting that at all.

Maybe I should go for older ladies instead of the ones around my age. Way more looks my direction from 30-mid 40's than mid 20's.
Then again, they could be on the... prowl.
