RWBY is pretty good. I've got a list of animes to catch up on. But not really watching anything else now.

So, one of the first recommendations I received in this thread was for a show called White Album 2. I've had a good number of the early recommendations stuck in queue limbo because new, shiny shows come out all the time. Earlier this week I was feeling bad about that and decided to clear some out, starting with White Album.
Now, the suggestion was for 2, which I thought was weird, so I added both seasons, but now I get why the suggestion was only for 2. White Album was a mess of an anime, some of the worst characters, and character interaction I've ever seen and probably the worst main character I've seen in any show, god he sucked. I kind of get why it was the way it was, it was very "real" I suppose, and the drama was probably more grounded. The main character was extremely weak, and thus he was terrible. I get why it might be considered good by someone else, but I really didn't enjoy it much. I will say I am glad I was able to finish it, because if I had stopped the first season, I never would've gotten to 2, and 2 was phenomenal. It's hard to believe it's the same people responsible for them both because the characters in 2 are much more likable, smarter and just generally better people than anyone in the first season. It's very much an emotional show and it will stab you in the heart like Clannad or Kanon. If you haven't seen either, differently check out White Album 2, but feel free to skip the first season. They're unrelated as they happen years apart. The only connection is all the music for 2 was produced/sung by the characters in the first season. Also, while I'm typing a book, might as well say I watched Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress and did enjoy it. I saw mentions of it a while back and judging by the statue you guys liked it. I can see why. |

OMG... RX-78GP03 Gundam Dendrobium! PG of that sucker is so BIG!!!! Recent one they made huge model is Neo Zeong. I kinda want one I hope they don't make it. It was a great ending and they need to keep it that way. They made side story (Akito the Exiled) but it's a meh and feels like they screwing up "Code Geass" name. |
