I don't care how early it was! What a great way to start the weekend. Had so much fun today, was great meeting everybody and the drive was pretty fun (too bad I had to cut out early). Getting some of that sweet 94 octane was the icing. That and seeing a big line of FR-S/BRZ driving along.

Unfortunately all my GoPro footage worth watching was blocked by fog on the lens.

Definitely looking forward to the next drive. Also, thanks to whoever brought the donuts! (don't remember your s/n)

Yes, thanks Jessie for the donuts!! Man you don't know how happy I actually was to see that one old-fashioned left in Bryan's trunk, at the end of the run... not having had breakfast and all. Oversleeping and missing my alarm, I didn't have time to eat that breakfast sandwich I had planned...

for future drives, probably what we'll do is have the early morning drives for those willing to wake up early to enjoy the clear roads, and then finish it off with a coffee shop type meet somewhere so that the late-risers can come and meet with us.

I was going to go with a dozen mixed old fashions but I thought, I may be one of the oldest lol so I mixed it up. Had to close BFF's trunk so you can get a bite THEN we forgot it. I was really curious why BFF's tail was so loose on Palomares...damn 2 donuts weighted him down lol.

Yes, great idea, early drive followed by a gathering.

Thanks Tam, Finch, Crystal (sp?) for the company after. And I thought Tully/Story had good spicy pho.

Wow, what a fun meet! We are lucky to have such a passionate and friendly group of owners here in the bay area. Great to meet everyone and talk cars! Can't wait for the next drive!

Here's a few iPhone pics from the day:

great video and photos guys!

OK after much processing and reviewing... here is my driving video. Unfortunately my GoPro battery died 3/4 of the way into the drive, but got enough to give you a taste of the day's fun.
