"Make sure that you post ALL of the pertinent information in your question so that the answer can be posted without a lot of back and forth. Please specify the wheel size, width, offset, complete tire size and the amount your car is lowered"

I'm looking at upgrading the wheels on my Scion FR-S RS 1.0. My concerns though looking online (total noob on wheels and tires and no real idea other than I like the Titan7 10 spoke wheels)

I'm looking specifically at the 18X9.5 Size and for me how the wheels poke out or whatever doesn't really matter to me.

I'm looking for functional non damaging size wheels. My concerns is that because the car is lowered by the TRD lowering springs that I'm limited and that 9.5 might be too wide.

I looked at other pics of other RS 1.0 in the directory and I'm totally lost. I don't want to go to a tire shop and get scammed with someone that is going to break my car.

I do have on the front the Seibon fenders with a bit of fender flares so that might help me a bit.

I prefer my wheels to be rotatable so that's why I don't want to have different sizes front and back if I can help it. It's a daily driver.

18x9.5 +40 Titan7 Tr10 wheels will rub on the spring perch. A 3mm to 5mm spacer is needed for the fronts to clear the spring perch, or you could get coilovers. If sticking to springs, 235/40/18 may be your best bet. If you get coilovers too, then 245/35 or 255/35 will work no problem. You will probably also want rear LCA.

With a bit of added room from your fenders (You said it not me) 18x9.5 with +35 offset shouldnt poke too much at all.

My advice, keep reading the wheel directory. Tons of great info!

Good luck.

I saw WedsSport has introduced the TC105X in 18x9.5 +45. You guys think that would rub anywhere at full lock? I have coilovers so I'm not worried about hitting the springs.

No not if you're on coilovers.

BFG Tires even in 235/40/18 were too thick.

Rear fit just fine with the 255/35/18.

I just need 5MM spacers for the front to clear the perch now. The wheel has less than a quarter inch from the perch and works just fine.

BFG's sidewall is so thick that 235 didn't even stretch. If I went with 225s it would work but god help me I wouldn't do that to my car.

I'm just trying to find the best spacers right now but not sure what to get.

You said you wanted square... Anyway, get ARP extended studs and a slip style 5mm spacer.

Sorry I'm not sure what a slip style spacer is?

Noob here when it comes to doing mods and such.

Seems like the current lugs will work with the 5MM spacer only.

It's not recomended to run a 5mm spacer on your current lugs. They need to be 5mm longer minimum. Which is why I suggested extended ARP studs.

Slip spacers, slip onto the cars lugs. Bolt on spacers have another set of lugs and nuts.

Hurm well alright. I'll just have to buy some new lugs for the front. I went ahead and ordered these

Looking at these wheels https://www.bbwheelsonline.com/revol...0-188512_40bm/

Only problem is the lug pattern is 5x112 and my car is 5x100. If I buy a conversion spacer will they still fit? Couldn't find conversion without a 25mm offset spacer too but if it's spaced out that far I don't know if the wheels would still fit on stock suspension set up.

What would I have to do to make these fit?

Worked with the 3MM Spacer. Thought it would be good for you to see.

Square setup with those flow formed Superspeed RF03RR gunmetal 18x8.5 35mm and Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 235/40. The car is lowered 1" on TRD springs (Eibach Pro Kit) .
Wheel weight is 18 lbs, so the wheel/tire combo is lighter than stock.

The fit is perfect, no rubbing. I just got some camber bolts that will be install tomorrow, mostly for handling, but it will make the slight poke disapear in front.

Hey guys I've got a pretty strange offset that I'm not too sure will fit.

245/40/17 on 17x8.5 +23mm in the rears, with Eibach Sportline.

It should poke by about 4mm I believe, but I'm wondering if it will rub at all. Closest set-up I found was this thread, but they are on 225 tires.

I'm pretty sure I've got this right, but I thought I'd post here and see if anyone can point out any obvious flaws.

I'm planning to get wheels and tires before coils, so this about fitment on stock suspension. Daily driving + autox and maybe track day eventually.

17x9 +38 is the main size for the wheels I'm looking at (Rays 57CR).

245/40 tires.

I think this will fit in the back and rub a tiny bit in the front. I'm okay with using a spacer (not sure if I need 3mm or less) in the front assuming that I won't need it once I get the coilovers. I'm also pretty sure this'll fit any brake upgrades.

Thoughts?

Thanks.
