Any idea how to fix a broken handle? I removed it earlier today, but after putting it back, it just pulls open without rebounding (the door doesnt open either). The handle just stays pulled out. Thanks in advance! Sorry to revive the thread

You forgot to slide it in the way that the strut or whatever its called is working correctly. On the side where the small part sits theres like a rod thats going down somwhere in the door, and this is the thing wich openes the door lock. I can't say exactly how its done on this car as i will put it back together in some days after wrapping it.
But for normal on like most european cars i did you put your finger there and pull the mechanism out a bit, if you do that softly it will stay and you can slide the handle in behind that mechanism. |
