Hey guys,

Lurked here for a few months researching this car. Finally picked one up yesterday. 2013 Limited 6AT. Went back and forth with the manual vs AT, but I went AT since its gonna be a DD and I don't need the additional left leg workout. I've also been spoiled the last 14yrs in my Lexus GS400 not driving a stick. Even without a stick this car is a blast to drive.

Anyways, first mod will likely be putting my 18" Volk LE37K's on, so I'll be spending most of my time researching my bolt conversion options and reading the awesome wheel&tire fitment thread.

Been lurking for a while. Not an owner yet but saving up to get a SWP BRZ. Cant think of a better car that has reliability, decent fuel economy, room for 4(ish), and doesnt have german repair costs. Can't wait to get the car and be more active on the forum. In the meantime, back to lurking...

I hear ya dude. I was hard on for the color that features didn't matter as much afterwards. First MT car for myself. So far I have managed to break it in without incident while learning to drive stick.

Hello From Pittsburgh

Hello all. I've been lurking here for a few months now but finally picked up my 2013 BRZ limited in SWP. I purchased from a friend of mine who has already put BC racing coils, K&N intake, Front and rear Lip, Nvidia exhaust, and some Rota Titans (17x9.5). More info will be in my build thread.

Howdy peeps!! New on here and drooling over a SWP BRZ. Just drove one for the first time after work and salesman is gonna let me do an extended test drive on a saturday. Hope to get one of these in the March-May time frame. Looking at a few cars and so far this is at the top of the list. Planning to do a custom order from factory so I can get all the options I want from the get go and not have to pay extra labor at dealership... down side, 2 month wait time for delivery. Might do a few cosmetic and basic mods, nothing crazy like my last car... OMG!!! I'm enjoying reading up about the car and checking out pics that you all have posted. Thanks so much for adding content to the forums people!!

Welcome to the forum @averagebrunette! This forum is great to learn more and more about the car and see the potential that you could do once you have one.

Enjoy and ask lots of questions!

Thanks x1up, my potential is simple... CAI, and cat back... Some light tint, and a few lights. I'll look cute going up and down the highway to work, have some fun on the back roads when I'm not on the Ducati, and won't have to worry about a highly modified car... Those of you that have one know what I'm talking about. If you don't understand, get a second car before going extreme on your build.

The last car I built was a 2000 Mitsubishi eclipse gs. 12 lb boost SC with meth/h2o injection, suspension, exhaust, etc... Wasn't bad for the 2.4l engine. My hobbies have changed and I find myself missing the sporty feel and good handling of a sports car. I'm also considering a 370z, Mazda mx5, used corvettes, and a few less sporty but older "dream" cars of mine. Of what I've looked at so far... The BRZ has my attention on styling, handling, feel, price, and economy... Bang for buck so to speak. I'm sure it would also be nice to do a track day or 2 with it as well.
