Nananananananana Batman!
Debadged that stupid cowboy hat.
Purchased the emblem on amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I was left with 2 holes that I didn't want to fill and paint. The alternative I used was https://www.colorxlabs.com/products/...scratch-repair As you can see it does a pretty good job of covering up the hole. I used the bigger circular vinyl sticker to get better adhesion. I won't have to worry about water dripping in there. The color match was not perfect. My car is 5 months old and the stickers are darker than the asphalt paint. According to colorxlabs, the stickers will not fade, meaning that when my paint is fading, the stickers will stick out even more. From about 5 feet, you can't tell they're there, they blend in. I also covered up a rock chip to the right of the emblem, close to the hood seal. That one blended pretty well in. This badge has been on since July 28th, without a car wash. I also applied 2x sided tape just to make sure it would stick a little better. I spent 4 months looking for a batman badge that would be big enough to cover both holes but due to the dimensions of the batman insignia, I could not find a good match. |

30,000km + 4 track days lol They were overheated quite badly the last day and it did them in. I now have the DTC 30 for track and a new set of stock pads for street driving. I change my tires after every track day so doing the pads is no biggie. It's like having two different cars |

Spent the better part of the afternoon installing a couple of birthday presents from my wife. TRD springs and 20/25mm spacers. Springs are still settling, but I'm real pleased with it.

Well now, none of those fancy lug nuts of yours look like they are the "locking" kind (to make theft more difficult).
They look like any old lug wrench could take them off. - Maybe I'll drive down this weekend and see if my lug wrench will take them off - I kinda like those wheels. - humfrz |
