If you take a right up the hill towards the oasis... it just continues on n' on. I just like Lago Vista as it is remote and there are some nice gravel roads that have been un touched really since the 70's when these areas were pre-developed.
while 1431 would be a GREAT road in theory, I have been going up 1431 to lago for years and not once seen that road not have a cop on it. It would be the most glorious road to just rip on but you will inevitably get caught. The cops have nothing to do up there.

Now, 1431 once you get past lago... that's a different story. unfortunately you end up in BFE on that road lol

Garage
so i'm about to hit my 30K mark in a bit, and i would like to know what some standard maintenance/fluid changes or refills should be considered at this point? My brakes are just now starting to squeak, so i'll be looking into getting the pads and/or rotors replaced, if needed. i'm still learning a lot about cars, and this car is my first real DIY experience, and i plan to learn more about proper maintenance and car care through my ownership.

1431 past Lago takes you to Marble Falls. Did a run with the RX7 & Supra guys, Lime Creek to 1431 to Marble Falls for dinner, good drive.

Did that today, I always get stuck behind a Prius. The Lexus dealership there takes their customers on it for a test drive.

Is it possible to take lime creek and pass thru volente and then make it to Bullick Hollow Rd? A trip to Marble Falls looks like a far drive.

1431 is a trap, I was thinking about the many lime creek like roads that feed off of it. However, it is a trip!

My car will be queening it up in my garage this weekend while I'm out of town for my friend's bachelor party. Looks like the temps will be good for when I get back.
