PM Nikdeng. He had both kits but I think preferred the STI one. I saw a picture of his set-up and it was awesome.

I was at Autokozmetiks a while ago and they showed me the Flyaudio head-unit. It was a perfect fit for the BRZ without needing spacers. They said it was plug and play without splicing any wires. It was around 30k with a back-up camera installed. They tested it and the back-up camera had lines for vantage point reference. You don't really need one I'm sure but hey it's free so why not. Lol! They also had Pioneer but they needed spacers and the like. Some members here have Kenwood and Pioneer.

The Toyota dealers sell theirs for 52k and 11k for the back-up camera. The brand they use is AVT. It won't void warranty but its sooooooo expensive.

If it does void warranty sa head unit lang naman diba? Hehe. 52k is too much. Sir I would also like to ask since I've been given the option. Brz with oem spoilor or no spoiler? And I heard rumors about a new variation being shown on nov 15 at the MIAS along with the new wrx sti. Is this true? Any news? Thankyou btw.

This is true. as of the moment they'll only let you buy if you get inhouse financing and if you buy the trf kits.

if flyaudio ang kunin na head unit then there should be no reason for casa to void your warranty. flyaudio is plug and play, no splicing will be done. i'm pretty sure that they can only void your warranty if splicing is done and di lang head unit ang ivoid nila but the whole electrical warranty.

I made the mistake of not bringing my own oil during my first 1k change oil. Should have went with a better one since they charged a lot for their "special 86 oil".

I remember asking the dealer regarding the TRD kit. Then I inquired about the TRD quad tip exhaust. I asked how much HP it would gain. The reply was "Wala pong gains sa horsepower ang body kit according to our service department." I was thinking to myself "I'm no expert but I'm not that stupid". And the fact that they had to ask their service department about it pa

Little do they know that adding TRD stickers alone will add 10 whp

From what dealer did you ask about the TRD QTE?

Well not everyone in a dealer really knows about the details of it. If you asked a Showroom girl MP about the exhaust, don't expect a good answer hehe. They don't understand much about those technical stuff. hehe.

question, would there be any power loss if i put in an exhaust made for FI but still running NA? im looking at the GReddy Evo3 exhaust and since the pipes are 2.7", im assuming this is for FI already?

the thing is, with the Jazz before, running bigger pipes lead to power loss already (anything more than 2" and size for FI is supposedly 2.5" for this car) so im a bit worried about getting the Evo3 exhaust.. but im also open to going FI in the future thats why im thinking of getting that exhaust as well
