But yeah I didn't know they sold the mid pipe now. Thanks for pointing that out.
Just ignore those guys. They keep pointing crap out and they cant even realize and see that its a different design. Anyone can see the cosworth design will breathe better just by comparing the one nameless offers to this one.

From the presentation they made at their HQ, my analysis is that they allocated way too much development time for the exhaust system and mapping, and with that, too much money spent. Why couldn't they just realise that everyone else uses a 2.5" exhaust for an N/A application for a reason? Why did they have to find out for themselves.

A month ago I heard they made the first installation in UK. Only one installation after so many months? Now they are trying to promote it a bit more.
you guys really dont think things through or read everything do you? Why would they make a 2.5 inch CBE when this is just STAGE 1 and they plan to release a Stage 2 and 3 in the future you really think they would release a 2.5 inch CBE when they plan to go FI.

And to the 2nd guy who cant read. You do realize that the header is from Nameless right? All of these parts are rebranded Nameless parts. It would only be worth getting the Stage 1.1 and then buying the Headers and Front/Overpipe from Nameless, as all of there new front/over pipes are going to be the design that Cosworth offers instead of their old one.

Just wondering where the IAM value would be then.
Their was a dyno already done in this thread 2 actually I think.

Instead of this
$5250 USD ($5890 CAD) http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Cosw...-Power-Package

Not trying to be a smart ass, just playing devils advocate
You do realize like what the other poster said that the price for the turbo doesnt include everything else you need like gauges and labor. Dont forget that when you go FI that it is a lot more maintenance too than what you would have to deal with when your going NA.

At this point (brand new 2015 BRZ) I want as much NA power as I can get. What do some of the critics of this package recommend? I have thought of going all HKS or Nameless or this kit, I know it's made by Nameless, but there is no exact product that you can get from Nameless. What Dyno'd results can you point me to that is a better at a substantially lower price ?

Cosworth claims 40 horsepower gains at the 1.3 kit, I know they are not talking WHP. so we have one Dyno at 26 WHP. What can you realistically expect engine back NA?

for 1k you can get the OFH and OFT. compare that dyno to this one and tell me if the extra 4k is worth the difference. Remember, 40 hp gain is at the crank not the wheels. I pity the fool who pays the money for a basic exhaust and tune setup.

Same thing like paying premium for Ohlins or JRZ or Penske when you can get 99% of the performance for cheaper (see: KW, RCE, others).

What's the issue about Cosworth and their pricing? They are a great brand, and have done more to push automotive performance than all of the $5k turbo kit makers combined.

Some people want to continue this. Others just say it's overpriced and move on. These are the two types of people of people in this thread.

I don't think the 1.1 is outrageously priced, considering that a cat-back is about a grand.

But the 1.2 and 1.3 are too much more for another 5hp each.

You do realize that the $5250 Cosworth package does not include install/labor.
So just like a FI kit, unless you want to do everything yourself its going to cost more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Correct me if I'm wrong... if you build a package with all the components of a Stage 1.3 from the beginning, which do they charge you $1000 for S1.1 calibration, + $300 for S1.2 calibration and finally $300 for S1.3 calibration = $1600 for engine calibration when you'd normally perform once (again, if buying 1.3 from the start)?

Please explain this added maintenance that comes with a self contained supercharger? The belt, you have one stock. The oil in the supercharger, well that's good for longer than I believe any other fluid in the car. The cosworth system doesn't include labour either BTW and chances are someone spending that much on those parts will not install it themselves. Reliability on low boost has been proven to be just like stock. The only issues that have arisen from these engines so far is people pushing them past 8000rpm killing bearings and rockers, which on most n/a engines you have to do to make power.

No idea bro, ask a vendor would be your best bet.
