The VFR is red. It's a 2007, same year as the RWB.

I just got a new (to me) bike and was thinking of breaking it in on some twisties this Sunday. Specifically, I'm planning to head out to Astoria via 202, grab lunch at Bowpicker (amazing fish & chips), then head back. Should be a good 250-300 mile loop. Anybody care to join?
@stockysnail come out and play with your new bike? @DarrenDriven dust off the buell?

I was actually going to go to Astoria sometime this weekend anyway. This would be a good excuse to ride the bike out there. I need to buy some gear though so I'm tentative at this point.

Finally got my riding gear. Went for a quick 13 mile ride around my area to see if I remembered how to ride. Not the smoothest ride of my life by I remembered the basics.

I had forgotten about this thread. Got rid of my VFR and Tiger and picked up a '14 FJR 1300 a couple of months back.

Just got back from a 4000 mile trip through Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada about a week ago. In case anyone is interested, there's a photo album.

Trip was great, except for hitting a bull with my saddlebag on the last day. There's a full-speed and slow-mo video from my buddy's GoPro (he was riding behind me).
