Oil on floor of engine bay?

I found out there was a bunch of (pre-assuming oil) on the floor on the engine bay. I think it's coming from the oil filter not being tight enough? The "oil" is only on the right side of the engine bay. (where the oil filter is located). I don't know how long all of that stuff has been there and was wondering if anyone can had a similar experience to this.

What would be the best way to clean up the stuff down there? Would it be dangerous to just use a pressure washer down there?

Couple things to note:
I check my oil somewhat often. The oil level do go down over time little by little. I only had to top it off like twice in the last 5000 miles.

The car has been in Cali the whole time I've owned it (since 2018). Car is 2016

Not sure where that is from but more importantly.

Your car might have problems...
I have never had to top the car up.
About the only thing I don't do is race the car on a track but I do beat on it. Oil change is now at 1.5 years.

That does not look like a leak. Spoiled oil at some time? Take pan off and clean it up. While you are there look at the bottom of the engine. Clean that up also and monitor. If the oil was leaking enough you have to put more in you will be leaving spots everywhere you park.

Bottom of engine, where the cam cover meets the timing cover. Found the same thing on mine last month. I posted about it somewhere...

Edit:. Found it! https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...=125848&page=4
