To me that's an apple/oranges comparison. Price gouging in an emergency situation is not the same, but I hear you.

Sure its an extreme comparison but end of the day in my eyes gouging is gouging and there is no place for it.

Not even close. Do you have an emergency need where you must buy the parts right now? They charge what the market will bear and that is the way capitalism works.

No emergency need no. Just an irritation when a item is being sold that much of manufacture set pricing thats all. I'm weird like that. I am of the mindset that items cost a certain amount to make. You set your price accordingly to make a profit. Just irritates me on a personal level I guess when something is marked up that much thats all knowing what it costs to make and that they were making what was deemed a acceptable profit off it before it doubled in price.

On the other end of the spectrum that item will eventually be in low demand and they will have to drop the prices to the point they will take a loss on any stock they have. It goes both ways and as a consumer you win some and you lose some. In the long run it probably works out even.
As a private buyer people always want to pay the lowest price possible and as a seller they want top dollar but then they get pissy when businesses do exactly the same thing.

Oh I am sure it will even itself out over time. Thats why the markets have highs and lows when you boil it down to its lowest point. Once that point does come it will just suck for legitimate buyers/sellers. They will end up competing with a low price and a market flooded with overworked video cards lol.

Be sure to never look at the profit levels in jewelry, particularly diamonds. You may not survive it!

I am fortunate the wife is not interested much in such trivial things such as diamonds and jewelry. Oh and she is allergic to roses so I am not sure how I got so lucky.

And then the things that people think there is a huge profit on can be barely above costs.

That makes me curious about mining crypto currency. It's a decent sized investment upfront. But I could run a couple boxes most of the year and the electric costs would offset my heating bill. The summer I could open a window. The rest is just watching the market and some buying and selling.

I only play Diablo 3 and The Division on PC. Looking forward to Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, though.

Been playing it since launch day; it's one of the best games i've ever played. I absolutely love it.

End game keyboard acheived. Just waiting on my GMK 9009 key set to ship and then I'm done for good.

Old 60% keyboard underneath for size reference. This layout is hella perfect for a TKL board
