Carbon Fiber and OEM BRZ hood

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum here, I owned a 2013 BRZ for about a year. I had replaced my OEM hood with a carbon fiber hood at about 30,000 miles.

When the 1st carbon fiber hood arrived it had a slight crack on one side, the company sent me a new one and let me keep the 1st one. It is in fair shape and if painted one would never know it has slight damage. I should have put my OEM hood back on before selling, but did not think of it at the time. I now have 2 car hoods, an OEM and a slightly damaged Sebion carbon fiber hood.

Ideally a local pick up would be preferred, but if you're willing to figure out the logistics and cover the cost, they can be shipped.

I will upload photos tonight of hoods on car and the damaged area of carbon fiber hood. The carbon fiber hood is a Seibon FA-Style hood

Original price for Seibon hood $901, price for OEM replacement hood from Subaru $599.95, total cost for pair $1500.95

Asking $500 for Seibon hood, $400 for OEM hood, $750 for the pair if you want both.

EDIT: Carbon fiber hood sold. OEM still available price drop to $300 and either the OEM tail lights or the OLM fog lights are still available as a freebie.

.
@Tommizle, good luck with the sale. You may want to review this for the rules about posting something for sale so it doesn't get removed from the listings.

I'm a little interested in the CF hood. If you could get me an estimated weight and dimensions I can try to calculate shipping.

@YamahaR86 The Shipping dimensions for the CF hood, provided by Pilot Freight Services, are 6" X 63" X 52" and the shipping weight was recorded at 32 Lbs, these are the dim from original shipment, I did post a picture of the box that was used to ship.

For anyone interested in the OEM hood I do not have exact dimensions or a box for it, but a similar size box would be a safe bet and a few extra pounds added to the shipping weight. I can try to find a reliable way to weigh it this weekend to get a better idea of the actual shipping weight.

I wish you were absolutely near Houston, Texas lol.

How much is shipping to 77642? I might splurge on it within the next few weeks if not sold by then; Provided the shipping doesn't kill me hard.

Carbon hood still available? If so does it need pins or anything other than stock hardware to mount?
