Be careful what you ask for. You ask for an annual vehicle inspection to check a few safety items and you end up opening the door to inspections like they have in CA or some European countries where you get dinged for modifying anything.

I lived in TX too, DFW area, and I remember having to get a vehicle inspection prior to renewing tags. $10-$15 wasn't a big thing.


Right now, I'm enjoying my glass lens e-code lights on my GTI with the
__/__/ light pattern. Even though they are halogen, they are much better than the Oe lights that were lost in a hail storm/tornado.

I like the BRZ lights and cannot wait to benefit from those projectors, which are standard and not buried in a package.

Bumping this one. I’ve noticed this since I got the car, hoping everyone else has the same dark spots? ‘17 with the led lamps. Not noticeable at all when your driving, but I always see it on the ground when I park the car. Drives me crazy
