Also, @sales@delicioustuning.com can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the additional D-box is compatible with the CARB tune since its really just a "filter" to smooth out the MAP signal.
The D Box is compatible with all Edelbrock tunes, not just ours and the CARB tune.

Is it still possible to bleed the clutch after the s/c install without removing the blower etc? Wondering if a remote bleeder is a must or a nice to have...

I've done it with the blower on, but with a lot of cursing and dropped wrenches (pro tip: stuff a bunch of rags down there before doing anything to both catch any fluid spills and tools that you WILL drop lol).

With that said, a remote bleeder isn't a must imho, but definitely a nice to have.

Anyone have links to recommended remote remote bleeders?

Am getting ready to pull the trigger, but am waffling on whether or not to try out the additional D box from DT...

Zach - sorry for my confusion, but does this D-box work without flex fuel, and is only one needed? the 'double D' and 'additional D box' implies that you need two.
so, for someone who is not running flex fuel with the E-force on the CARB tune, what do they need? one D-box?

How do you figure not justifying the price? The supercharger is $4350/100hp, while the double d unit is $125/10hp. $43.50 per HP vs $12.50 per HP.

I had a tune done with mine so I can't compare with and without. It's been smooth since I broke in the new clutch. I don't think I'm experiencing any of the jerkiness you're seeing.

It was more the circumstances at that time: I was very happy and content with the CARB tune. I later bought JDL headers and the DT tune to compensate, but found the headers too loud (couldn't hear what little SC whine we get). Now I was back to the stock header, stuck trying to sell off a very lightly used header at a loss and a tune I technically don't need anymore. Ultimately, I'm pretty happy with the DT tune, but having to spend a little bit more to iron out the remaining little problems didn't really sit well with me. Live n learn...

Edit: As mentioned a few posts back, I'm still considering it, so its not like I'm completely writing it off.

The "D Box" and our Flex Fuel kit are two entirely independent products. Our D Box works with the CARB tune, our tune, and every other tune for the Edelbrock kit. The CARB tune is not Flex Fuel and does not have the capacity to be. Our D Box can work with or without our Flex Fuel kit and tune. Two entirely different products that do not rely on each other for proper functionality.

After you swapped back to your stock header what other problems did you have to iron out with the DT tune?

Edit: And did you have hesitation problems with just the CARB tune?

Looking at the info from your product page for the Double D box (https://www.delicioustuning.com/node/536)... which tune was used for the dyno/logs?

Any changes whatsoever on the tune for with/without the d box?

Thanks!

The tune used on our product page is our own. There were no changes made between the logs and pulls done with and without the box. The idea behind those graphs and logs was to show the difference that the hardware made with no tune change.

The benefit will be nearly identical no matter which tune you are using.
