Thanks.
Quality and customer service. All companies making these parts will pretty much have the same gains performance wise. Motiv's craftsmanship is just impressive, and they're always prompt and friendly with any inquiries or issues you may have. My added benefit is I actually live about 15 minutes from them and I've had the opportunity to visit the shop. I actually didn't get the test pipe; mine is the HFC pipe. Unless you're asking why I didn't get the test pipe? Didn't want the noise and smell, especially here in CA.

Mine was plug and play. I think there's 3 different versions now?
JDM spec: requires re-pinning
US spec non-DOT approved: does not require re-pinning
US spec DOT: does not require re-pinning

Mine was the second one on the list. As long as you're buying from an approved TOM's US distributor it should be the latter two.

You know, just in case there was any doubt as to what my build theme is.

Your setup is my inspiration for how I want my SWP to look like. A few questions. What are your tire specs for your wheels? I'm debating between going between 17s or 18s but looking at your car, I'm leaning toward 17s at this point, except I'll probably go with silver or gun metallic.

I'm just using the stock tires. I will eventually switch to a 225/45R17

I never considered doing the headers in the first place. And honestly I'm not sure if that project is still going on at Motiv anymore. But we shall see I guess.

Onto an update: putting a nice oem audio plus system in today. Love the color match.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1380483875.296427.jpg

how was the install? I watched the YouTube guide and it looked pretty extensive in terms of pulling apart the interior panels to guide the cables through.

Had it done with my friend at FRS86 garage. Overall, the extensive part IS pulling apart the panels and tucking the wires. Not difficult, just takes time to make everything clean. Panels themselves are all very simple to remove

Love your car... makes me sorta wish I went WRB... however, I do like the stealthiness of the black. I still have the STI springs, gurney flap and front lip extension coming in next week. Not to mention a number of other non exterior visual mods on their way.
