I used to think that silver paint was silver paint. But Subaru has done something to make this color pop. I like it.

The SSM is a great classic color on the BRZ! It's a shade between s2k sebring silver (light) & silverstone (dark). The BRZ SSM is more metallic and turns dark on the body lines.

I can't say enough how I like SSM in the BRZ!!! You never have to wash it & scratches don't show.

My track s2k is silverstone.

sebring silver is DISGUSTING. worst silver ever. I wouldn't even take an s2000 in that color if it were free and I REALLY like the s2000

I agree. I don't like sebring silver in an s2k.

I normally dont like the silver either, but the brz ssm is growing on me. And for some reason i dont like the ssm on frs. I swear they are different color. I used to own a silver celica and i really like that color, and brz ssm looks very similar

I'm colorblind but I think its the black trim on the BRZ that the FRS does not have that makes this color pop a bit more.

It's a good color for the twins in that it shows off the body lines well, but for that I'd rather take white.

It's exactly that. The chrome (gross) FRS headlights blend in with SSM.

I like white, as in Subaru Aspen White. But I'm not fond of SWP or better yet beige. My 11 STi was beige & it was not very appealing. Might be better on a smaller car like the BRZ, but on a huge boat/tank like the 11 STi... it was the worst color ever.
