I'm pretty sure thats what the new Q50 Infiniti is getting eventually (G Replacement). I don't think the Z will be getting much cheaper, if anything it will be another model. They could always bring back a 280z or 300z name for an entry level rwd sports car.

Still better then nothing.

I like the I6 sound, it'll bring back some old memories with a proper exhaust.

Same here. In life, since I turned 16, I have always had at least one I6 in the stable. They're just so smooth and good.

Don't think we'll see an I6 since there is nothing else running that type engine. I would hope for a small VQ turbo like the VQ25DET or maybe a Juke engine turned the right direction.

Yep! Best sounding exhausts and smoothest engines. Too bad they're kinda heavy. But Nissan knows their stuff. They just need some more passion. Toyota is killing in that aspect right now.

Its all about ingenuity, and innovation. Its lacking right now in the car universe, but Toyta has brought a spark back into it. Hopefully it can teach Nissan that it isn't all about power and more of their classic Silvia line. The Z line has been dulling down in terms of fun in turn for power/luxury. Nothing wrong with that, but it would be nice for Nissan to reach out to the lower price point crowd and bring back the fun of modding. They're still kings of that, thanks to the S13-S14 here in the states

The Juke Turbo thing has been talked about a lot, and does sound interesting. I think tho they should go with a true NA in an I6 or a high output I4.

I mean look at the GTR - 500hp from a V6 (yeah its tt but so what lol)

Almost certain it'll be a turbo four banger.

It'll most likely be a turbo four banger as said above or a V6.

But the I6 would give an excuse for the long bonnet of the car, the I6 is a dying engine but i could see Nissan making use of one. Makes good power, great sound and i always thought they had a good mid range when NA. Though it is close to impossible of us even seeing that engine in this car.

I would guarantee there will be no I6, if they did it wouldn't be able to be sold anywhere under the price of a 370z. I could see the 2.0T 4cylinder out of the new MB CLA in it before a straight 6.

It's 208hp and 250ft lbs and would be perfect, they have the AMG version with 360hp also for a Nismo or RS version...
