27, male, married, and have the house and the wife's car on my insurance. Last incident was a speeding ticket 5-7 years ago. Went to driving school to get it removed. ~$43 a month for full coverage with State Farm.

Remember, your insurance rate will also vary depending on where you live in the U.S.

Where you live is a huge factor.

I'm paying $270 a month with State Farm at 24yo, no speeding tickets on my record any more. Past record was pretty bad with around 8 speeding before I was 19 and none since. About to switch to AAA and pay $100 less a month

Well I live in New Jersey. But it's a rural part of South Jersey. Perfect Credit, College Grad, Defensive Driving Program and all. Only have a few things on my driving record. Never had an accident that was my fault. Mercury I know didn't want me... they did that when I was 17 went from 150/mo under my parents to 400/mo when I was on my own. So I will shop around and see what I can get. A lot of stuff will be dropping off my driving record in the next few months so I suppose that can really help.

Thanks for all the advice and help. Just a little upset that I am paying close to 50% of my car payment to insure the vehicle. Maybe I will go under my parents. HAHA.

HAHA. I just played around with Esurance and I added my two minor violations and it came out about the same Progressive is.... took away my violations and it went down to $100/mo. So hopefully in a few months I will be paying around the $100/mo. Thank god there's some light at the end of this tunnel.

Good luck with that man, I had stuff fall off and they dropped my policy down 17 bucks. paying 1600+ / 6mos. Granted, I previously had no insurance history and had a violation so I stuck with it for a year to see if they ever dropped anything.

swapped over to geico and saved 46%. not sure what their problem was.

Try Allstate. $131/month with 2 points on my license. Got caught doing 80 in a 55 on Route 9 in Old Bridge 3 years ago.

33, clean record, I can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure I'm still south of $50/mo. This is in the Denver metro area. Progressive initially gave me $25/mo when the car was new last Sept, I nearly shat myself when I heard that... Stayed there for a few months and its incrementally increased as more boneheads crash them.

27, perfect record, $100 a month, USAA. Not the best rate, but certainly not the worst. I have pretty good coverage too.
